LAC/LPC, or LMSW/LCSW, you’ve come to the right place!
Choosing the right supervisor…
You spent a lot of time and effort to get through graduate school. Now, it’s time to grow those skills and become the clinician you’ve dreamed of becoming.
How will you know if you’ve found the supervisor to get you there?
You know your basic needs: someone who meets state requirements is professional and ethical, has been on the job for a while, knows the ropes, AND can help you meet your personal and professional goals.
But there’s more that you should want.
Supervision will provide a foundation to build a career across your lifetime, so your supervisor must help you develop your clinical skills.
Understanding your role as a therapist, case conceptualization, and overall clinical knowledge are keys to a solid supervisory relationship.
You want a supervisor who will inspire growth and creativity in your work – someone who can act as a resource and help you navigate your burgeoning career.
A good supervisor will appropriately challenge you at the correct times, helping you grow beyond your blind spots and limitations.
This is a grown-up, long-term relationship.
Finding someone you click with can make all the difference – not just through licensure but also through consultation over a career spanning many years.
A strong supervisor can set you up for success and confidence as you navigate the waters of service delivery.
A good mentor is worth their weight in gold.

Here’s some of my background…
I’ve worked with all demographics (children, families, couples, and individuals) in different settings, ranging from agency work, in-home therapy, telehealth therapy, in-person services, and group practice as a fully licensed independent contractor.
I’ve been a trainer, coach, and mentor in one capacity or another for the last 20 years. As a board-certified supervisor, I enjoy helping fellow clinicians pursue and achieve their dream of independent licensure and a rewarding career in counseling.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Discernment Counseling, EMDR, and other modalities. As a clinical supervisor, I offer a thorough and current understanding of Board rules and statutes.
I own my private group practice, so there are opportunities for you to be part of a great team providing amazing help to people in need.
My favorite supervisees are those who…
… take their work incredibly seriously and make the time to run an organized caseload, including coordination of care, documentation, and clear evidence of treatment modalities being used.
And if you’re open to feedback and hungry to learn, expand your knowledge and resources, have a curious mind, and are self-aware, we’ll work well together!
I expect supervisees to be organized, consistent, and communicative (but not perfect!).
I require supervisees to review the Board website monthly to understand its rules and statutes comprehensively to maintain the highest level of ethics in their practice.
I always want to be a safe resource for questions big and small. Many of my former supervisees still reach out with staffing issues, questions, or just to vent, which I welcome.
Please contact me if you’re looking for a kind and knowledgeable yet firm clinical supervisor who will challenge you and ask you to look outside the conventional box for answers.
This could be the start of a very productive and enjoyable journey!
Your next steps…
First, schedule a 15-minute consultation to discuss the fit of supervision and alignment of goals for supervision. This is where we’ll discover if and how I can support you on this journey. If so…
Second, we’ll book an in-person interview to discuss the expectations of supervision and the supervisory relationship. We’ll each sign contracts outlining the requirements and affirming our commitment to the process.
Third, you’ll begin clinical supervision! My fee is $150 per hour plus mileage for Board-required site visits.
I can’t wait to work with you. Give me a call! (480) 908-7898
